The Seabook Valley leads from the sea up to Cheriton and is brimming full of colour with wild flowers, butterflies and birds, all waiting to be discovered.
There is a Site of Special Scientific Interest (the Seabrook Stream) rich in wildlife of wet woodlands, and the County Wildlife Site of Paraker Wood, an ancient woodland with a colourful display of bluebells and other woodland wild flowers in spring. A Pocket Park has been created from the part of Paraker Wood, owned by Folkestone & Hythe District Council. The Pocket Park can be accessed from Spring Lane, off Horn Street.
A network of paths is waiting to be explored, including the Elham Valley Way and two circular walks starting from the car park near the Royal Military Canal at Seabrook.
